Pilot project: Sewing project in Yemen

We, from Amanah Charity, have thought about realizing a project that can enable the needy people in Yemen to live a better and independent life. Now we are pleased to inform all donors that we have started a sewing project as a pilot project. With this project we can work together to improve the future of people in need so that they can earn their own wages. Fabrics are bought at low prices and processed into garments, which are then sold on.

Of course, this is not the only thing that is needed to help all the people in Yemen. But we firmly believe that we can make a major contribution by giving them the opportunity to become self-sufficient for a better and more social life. The project includes eleven (11) sewing machines and a sewing course for eleven (11) people. Those selected are thoroughly and well trained through the course so that they are ready for their work.

The amount for the machines and everything needed in the room is exactly: 6’905.- dollars 

As soon as the amount has been collected, the first workshop will be held and documented.
